The Lotus Dance is a traditional dance performed by young women. We hold practice for this program in the Asian Center. If you are a young woman seeking a new cultural experience, or know one who is, and want more information just 402-477-3446 and we will help you get involved.
To its practitioners world wide, Tai Chi is enjoyed as a martial art, a form of exercise, and a meditative activity. The movements, while rooted in self-defense actions, are performed very slowly, softly and gracefully. The Tai Chi group welcomes all people regardless of prior experience and physical condition, although young children may not find it enjoyable because of its slower pace and intellectual requirements. To join our group just call 477.3446.
The Lincoln Kung Fu Club is an independent program that uses the
Asian Center for their practices. As an Asian Art, the Asian Center is proud to share it's space with this local club. The Lincoln Kung Fu Club teaches Ving Tsun (Wing Chun) Kung Fu and welcomes anyone interested to join them. They practice on Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8:00 at the Asian Center.
