ELL and Citizenship Classes



    The Asian Community and Cultural Center is a recipient of the 2018 USCIS Citizenship and Assimilation Grant along with El Centro de las Américas and the Center for Legal Immigration Assistance. In partnership, we provide affordable and flexible education classes and N400 filing assistance to legal permanent residents of Nebraska. ACCC's citizenship classes cover the four required components of the naturalization interview, including: reading, writing, speaking, and American history and civics.

    Winter Orientation: January 6, 2019 (3PM) at El Centro de las Americas or January 7, 2019 (7PM) at Asian Community and Cultural Center
    --Citizenship Class: Wednesday & Friday (10AM to 12PM); or Tuesday & Thursday (6PM - 8PM) for 12 consecutive weeks. Schedule provided upon registration.

    Drop-in citizenship classes are supported by United Way are are held every Wednesday from 9AM to 10AM.

    An intermediate course, supported by Humanities Nebraska, is open to anyone wanting to improve their English and learn more about Nebraska history and American culture. Classes are held on Thursdays from 3PM to 4:30PM.
