Speak Up. Save Lives. Video Contest
Opioid addiction impacts families across every community, including our immigrant and refugee neighbors. Too often, language barriers, stigma, and lack of culturally relevant information prevent people from getting the help they need. Sometimes the biggest impact can come from within our own communities.
“Speak up. Save lives.” is a digital storytelling campaign inviting community creators to use their voices to raise awareness, share knowledge, and spark conversation.
We’re recruiting local digital creators to produce short, powerful videos (60–90 seconds) that speak directly to their communities in their own language, style, and cultural lens.
Whether you tell a personal story, share a message of prevention, or highlight how to support a loved one. Your voice could help save lives.
The top two creators will receive cash prizes for standout submissions: $600 for first place, $300 for second place. Winners will be announced at the Asian Center’s Harvest Moon Festival on September 26th at Antelope Park.
